Judge's comments for this category:
Anti-Texting:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): The talent should have had a lapel microphone (lots of background noise). The graphics all had matching color, but not sure what Delegate Shewell's inclusion meant at the end.
CATS:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): The interview was nicely spliced between footage and talent. The footage would have been much better with a tripod. The music kind of came on strong at the beginning. There was some lack of white balance on a very crucial clip. Not using it would have been a much better edit.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): Good content and nice interview. Having a subject that knows the content make the video much better.
Westminster Parks & Recreation:
Production Value (Graphics, Video/Directing, Audio, Editing): There were some strange transitions in the video along with a subject change at the end. The subject was talking about the center, but had been talking about the skate park. A viewer is not sure whether the subject is still talking about the skate park or the facility.
Aesthetic Value (Creativity, Program Pacing, Content): It really would have helped the video to actually show the ramps being used. Subject knew the material very well and presented it nicely.
