CMC workshop The CMC offers a variety of workshops including free monthly Orientations to get members of the community on their way to working on their own shows and exploring the latest electronic communications applications.

Workshops are taught by staff and other professionals in the television and technology industries. Email amesser@carrollmediacenter.org to register or call 410-386-4415.

Wednesday, February 15 - Intermediate Production Workshop - 5:30-7:30pm
Do you feel as though your productions could use a little polish? The CMC wants to assist by holding a workshop to help improve camera, sound, and lighting skills for the average producer. Hosted by Erik Yount, this workshop's goal is to help make you, the producer, more comfortable and informed when shooting video. To sign up for this workshop, please contact the CMC Volunteer & Educational Coordinator.

Saturday, February 18 - CMC Orientation - Getting to know the CMC - 9am to 10am
The community is invited to learn about your local PEG access center and how you can produce and edit video for television and the web. Orientation covers how to become a certified producer and the multiple uses of public access.

Saturday, February 18 - Basic Certification - 10am to 11am
CMC members are invited to attend the Basic Certification workshop which includes learning to operate digital video cameras, audio equipment, and non-linear video editing.
