9th Annual Holiday Open House for Non-Profits - December 2007
For the ninth year, we turned our studio over to the nonprofit community so they could tell Carroll County how their organization makes this community a better place to live and work. Many participated before and understand the importance of educating the public about their organization and the value of their services. This was their opportunity to talk about their specific needs whether it was funding for a new roof or donations of food for the needy. Click here for all the details and photos.

CMC Communications Networking Symposium - October 2007
The Community Media Center hosted a symposium on communications networking for government and public use in October. Nationally-recognized experts, Columbia Telecommunications Corporation, discussed how broadband networking can meet the needs of our local governments, our constituents, and our fellow Carroll County residents. 2007 Speak Out Teen Summit - May 2007
Hosted By: Junction, Inc. The 2007 Junction sponsored Speak Teen Summit was a great success! This forum provided the opportunity for teens in the Carroll County community to speak out about problem and issues pertaining to driving while under the influence of alcohol. Guests from the community whom have suffered loss under these circumstances spoke to the teens about their grief and hardship felt by the pressure of drinking and driving. Emily Murray and Paul Zimmerman hosted the Summit, David Dagget, Juila Gouge, and Cathy Ondrish were guest speakers, the theatre troupe Fool Proof performed wonderfully talented skits and the rock band Foretold closed with an awesome set. Click below to check out some photos taken during the Summit.

2007 Municipal Candidates Forums - May 2007
The CMC invited all the candidates running for municipal elections to come and answer some questions from the Carroll County League of Women Voters.
