Become a Member of the CMC


The Community Media Center of Carroll County invites you to get involved and help "Make Community Matter"! Follow your dreams of producing your own television show. Or get the word out about an issue that is important to you or this community. That's what the CMC can offer you.

Membership in the CMC is open to residents and non-profit organizations of Carroll as well as Maryland non-profit organizations that serve Carroll County.

Members have access to a fully-functional television studio, an express studio for public service announcements, a program editing suite and assistance from an experienced production staff. Members may also take advantage of television production training programs, networking and volunteer opportunities.

The Community Media Center is a non-profit public-education-government (PEG) organization with a mission to give the local community a means to voice their concerns and interests. The CMC's operations are made possible through cable access fees and membership support.

Annual Membership Dues

Membership dues are paid directly to the CMC to offset costs of the services provided, use of the facility, liability insurance and other miscellaneous costs. Memberships are available for individuals and organizations.


In July 2008, the CMC will be launching a new membership program. Be sure to tune in at that time! Members who join prior to that date will keep their current plan until it expires.
